Nifty Fifty Adventure
Take a tour of the United States with our Nifty Fifty Adventure on Tuesdays at 4:00!  Each week, we celebrate the states with books and crafts and share all the incredible things that make each state extraordinary.  This month, we have some extra special events planned, so make sure to drop in and have fun with us.

La Leche League
La Leche League meets at the Avoca Branch library on the first Friday of the month at 10:00 a.m.  This month, they will be meeting on December 7.  Their purpose is to meet with local mothers and provide a network of support for and information on breastfeeding.  To learn more about their organization, please visit their website at http://www.lllmountainempire.org/home.

Avoca Branch Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library perform an important function at the Avoca Branch, helping fund and plan programs, donating both time and food to the library.  They are invaluable to our continued success, and Avoca would not be the same without them.  If you are interested in joining the Avoca Friends of the Library, we typically meet on the first Monday of each month at noon.  This month, we're meeting on December 3!

If you are interested in joining the Friends of the Library or learning more about what they do, drop in for our monthly meeting or contact the Avoca Branch Library at 423-968-9663.
