This month, the Bristol Public Library is offering a special gallery presentation on the creativity of our local quilting guild: the Wolf Hills Quilters. Thanks to their generosity, we have been able to hang quilts throughout the Virgie R. Fleenor Gallery for the duration of September!
Visitors will have the chance to view some of the most beautiful quilts in the region and uncover the rich, hidden history of quilts. To make this an immersive experience, we're also expecting a visit from the William King Museum on September 12 to learn more about the history of quilting in the region with "Quilting: A History in Stitches."
We're very excited about our gallery and we hope you'll join us as we celebrate both the creative and cultural history of the region.
